India Post Job 2023: 1899 vacancies out for PA/SA and other post, Selection will be done without examination

India Post Recruitment 2023: There is going to be a bumper recruitment in the Postal Department. Indian Postal Department has invited applications for recruitment to 1899 posts on its official website.

According to the notification issued by the Postal Department, the online application process for these posts is starting from today, 10 November 2023. At the same time, candidates will not have to give any kind of examination for this recruitment. In such a situation, interested candidates should not wait for the last date and apply immediately for Indian Post Recruitment 2023. The forms for this recruitment of the Postal Department will be filled by 9 December 2023.

India Post Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • For the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant – Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University and should know about working on computers.
  • For the posts of Postman / Mail Guard: The candidate should have a 12th pass certificate from a recognized Board and should have passed the local language of the concerned Postal Circle or Division as one of the subjects in 10th standard or above.
  • For the post of Multitasking Staff – The candidate should have passed 10th standard from a recognized University.

Age limit

For Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Postman, Mail Guard, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 27 years. Whereas the maximum age limit of the candidate for the post of Multi Tasking Staff is 25 years. There will be relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates.

Postal Department Selection Process

Candidates applying for Postal Department recruitment will be selected on the basis of merit. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of information filled in the application form. There will be no examination of any kind in this.

Application fee

Women candidates, transgender candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will not have to pay application fee. Whereas general category candidates will have to pay Rs 100.
