Indian Railway Festive Special Trains List: There is good news for railway passengers in the festive season. Indian Railways has taken a big step in view of the rush in Diwali and Chhath Puja-2022.

Let us tell you that even before this special trains are being run on many routes. Actually, lakhs of people will travel by train in the next 10 days from Delhi on Diwali and Chhath. In such a situation, in view of the festivals, the Railways has arranged for 15 lakh additional seats. Also, for the convenience of the passengers, tents have started at railway stations from Monday.

Great step taken by railways

In view of the crowd at the station, the railways has started setting up tents for the convenience of the passengers. Apart from this, full arrangements for special counters, toilets, seating areas, security will be made for the passengers till Friday. According to the information received so far, in view of the crowd in Diwali and Chhath Puja, Northern Railway is running a total of 70 special trains. Let us tell you that these trains will make a total of 771 trips from both the sides, in which about 12 lakh people will be able to travel. Out of these, a total of 62 special trains are being run for the eastern states.

153 extra coaches installed in 49 trains

Apart from this, 153 extra coaches have been installed in 49 trains from October 1 to November 15. With this, about 3.5 lakh passengers will get confirmed seats. Officials have informed that this time keeping in view of Diwali and Chhath, special arrangements are being made at New Delhi, Old Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations from now on. Actually, most of the trains run from here to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Counters are being set up here to collect tickets for passengers.

According to the news published in India, Dimpy Garg (DRM, Delhi Division, Northern Railway) told that special trains are being run to take passengers to their destination stations during festivals. Along with this, a campaign is being run against the people who are brokering tickets, so that these brokers cannot make arbitrary recovery from the passengers.
