Digital Life Certificate is a digital service with biometric support which is being provided to the pensioner. Submission of Life Certificate means that the pensioner is alive. Let us know how many ways you can submit a life certificate.

    1. You can submit life certificate through India Post Payments Bank (IPPB)

Doorstep service with postman started in November 2020 to provide better service to pensioners and pensioners. It was developed by the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) of the Department of Posts and Meity. To use this function through mobile device a pensioner needs to download “Postinfo APP” from Google Play store. You can watch videos related to submission of Digital Life Certificate on this app.

    2. By visiting the Jeevan Pramaan portal, pensioners can submit the Life Certificate on the Jeevan Pramaan portal from the comfort of their homes. The Aadhaar regulator UIDAI has provided the details of all the biometric devices to verify the identity of the pensioners, which can be seen by the pensioners on the website of the Aadhaar regulator.

    3. Doorstep Service for submission of Digital Life Certificate through Postman was launched in November 2020 through Postman Service. This facility is provided through India Post Payments Bank Postman and Gramin Dak Sevak. To avail this facility through mobile, pensioners have to install Postinfo App from Google Play Store.

    4. Going to your bank There are 12 government banks across the country that provide doorstep banking facility in 100 major cities of the country. Life certificate is also submitted under its services. For this, booking is done through mobile app, website or toll free number. Then the doorstep banking agent comes to the house and the pensioners come to your house and take the life certificate.

    5. Can deposit online If the pensioner is outside the country, there is no need to visit the bank personally in case the bank officer signs the life certificate. At the same time, sitting at home abroad, you can also submit life certificate through the Jeevan Pramaan website in an online way.

    6. Pensioners can submit life certificates by personally attending the Pension Disbursing Authorities (PDAs). If the pensioners do not want to appear in physical form. Then they can submit the life certificate by getting them signed by a designated official. In this, they have been given exemption to appear in person.
