Labour Minimum Wage: The Delhi government has increased the minimum income of workers. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Wednesday announced the minimum wage for workers in the unorganized sector.

Now the minimum wage for unskilled workers will be Rs 18,066, semi-skilled workers will be Rs 19,929, and skilled workers will be Rs 21,917 per month

The Delhi government has increased the minimum income of workers. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Wednesday announced the minimum wage for workers in the unorganized sector. Now the minimum wage for unskilled workers will be Rs 18,066, semi-skilled workers will be Rs 19,929, and skilled workers will be Rs 21,917 per month. After becoming the Chief Minister, Atishi said that the Delhi government led by Arvind Kejriwal has implemented the highest minimum wages in the country for the workers of the city.

Atishi attacked the BJP and said that the minimum wages in BJP-ruled states are almost half of that in Delhi. She said that the Kejriwal government not only implemented the minimum wage through the court, but also ensured wage revision twice a year despite the opposition of the BJP.
