With this decision, now the prices of all the brands of liquor and beer have increased. Where the price of beer has increased by Rs.5-7. At the same time, the price has been increased by Rs 5 on pavle of country liquor and Rs 10 on brands of English liquor.
45 thousand crore rupees target fixed
According to the information, the new excise policy formulated by the Yogi government was approved by the cabinet in January this year. In this policy, a plan has been fixed to increase the revenue target of the Excise Department. Following this policy, the government has now set a target of tax collection of Rs 45 thousand crore for the Excise Department in the financial year 2023-24.
10 percent more liquor will have to be sold
According to the officials, a provision has been made in the new excise policy that all the shopkeepers running the liquor government contract will have to sell 10 percent more liquor (UP Liquor Price Latest) this time as compared to the last financial year. Along with this, the license fee has also been increased in clubs and hotels falling within 5 km radius of Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow Municipal Corporation.
Now you can open liquor shop till late night
In the new excise policy, the Yogi government has increased the fee for drinking liquor (UP Liquor Price Latest) at model shops from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. Along with this, provision has also been made to give permission to open shops till late night after taking permission from the government on special occasions. According to excise officials, these provisions of the government have been implemented with immediate effect.
