LPG Cylinder Price: Before the Lok Sabha elections, today i.e. on Monday (April 1), the Modi government at the Center has given a big relief to the public. Actually, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been reduced by the government. After the new cut, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder has reduced by Rs 30.50 in the national capital Delhi, by Rs 31.50 in Mumbai, by Rs 30.50 in Chennai and by Rs 32 in Kolkata. Let us tell you, new prices of gas cylinders are released by the government after review at the beginning of every month.

Know commercial gas cylinder latest rates

After the cut, the rate of 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1764.50. Earlier it was Rs 1795. At the same time, the price of commercial LPG cylinder in Chennai has come down to Rs 1930. At the same time, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai and Kolkata has become Rs 1717.50 and Rs 1879. This reduction has been made only in the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. There has been no change of any kind in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders by the Central Government.

Domestic cylinder prices were reduced last month

Let us tell you that in the month of March, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders were also reduced. Then Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced to reduce the prices of domestic LPG cylinders by 100% on International Women’s Day (08 March 2024). At the same time, a day before that on March 7, the Modi government had given relief to the common people in the matter of LPG cylinders. Then the cabinet had announced to give a subsidy of Rs 300 to the beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana till March 31, 2025.
