LPG Gas Price: LPG cylinder has become cheaper, new prices will be implemented from today

LPG Gas Price: The prices of LPG cylinders have been reduced in the country from June 1. However, this relief has been given only in 19 kg cylinders. Commercial cylinders have become cheaper by Rs 24. The new rate is applicable from June 1, 2025.

Now the revised retail price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi is Rs 1,723.50. There has been no change in the price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder i.e. domestic LPG cylinder.

Commercial LPG cylinders are used in hotels, restaurants, dhabas and other commercial establishments. Earlier, the price of a commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 41 in April and by Rs 14.5 in May. After the latest reduction, the new prices of commercial cooking gas in some major cities from June 1 are as follows…

Domestic gas became more expensive in April.

On April 7, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 50. This increase was applicable to both Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries and others. After this, the price of an LPG cylinder for general consumers increased from Rs 803 to Rs 853. Under the Ujjwala scheme, the price of a cylinder for consumers increased from Rs 503 to Rs 553.

Cylinders become cheaper for the second consecutive month

This is the second consecutive month when the price of commercial LPG cylinders has been reduced. In the beginning of May too, the companies had reduced the price by Rs 14.50 per cylinder. This will have a direct impact on services like hotels, restaurants and food industry, where this gas is used in large quantities.

Not only commercial gas, but Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), used for flights, has also become cheaper. Its price has been reduced by 4.4 percent, i.e. Rs 3,954.38 per kilolitre. Now the new price of ATF has become Rs 85,486.80 per kilolitre.
