Metro Station Closed: Due to floods in Delhi, the situation is getting worse. Due to rising water in the city on Thursday morning, entry-exit at Yamuna Bank Metro station has been closed. It has been informed by Delhi Metro that due to rising water level of Yamuna river, entry-exit at Yamuna Bank Metro station has been closed. Although the Blue Line of Metro is working normally.
A flood-like situation has arisen in Delhi, people are being evacuated from many areas since morning. Water has entered the areas around the old fort, due to which people are facing problems. There has been a traffic jam in the area of Sarai Kale Khan, Ring Road, ITO due to water logging.
Station Update
Entry and exit at Yamuna Bank Metro Station has been temporarily closed due to the rising water levels of the Yamuna River. However, interchange facility is still available and services on Blue Line are running normally.

There is flood in Delhi. Yamuna water has come on the roads. The low-lying areas have been submerged in water. Some areas of Civil Lines, Wazirabad, Kashmiri Gate have been waterlogged. People have to leave their homes. The water level of Yamuna is increasing continuously. Meanwhile, Yamuna Bank Metro Station has been closed. Meanwhile, the facility of interchange will continue.
With flood there will be water shortage in Delhi, 3 water treatment plants closed
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said in a tweet that there could be a water shortage in the capital. Amid rising water level in Yamuna, CM informed that Wazirabad, Chandrawal and Okhla water treatment plants have been closed. Due to this there may be water problem in some areas of Delhi. The CM told that the treatment plants will be reopened as soon as the water level recedes.
Advisory of Delhi Traffic Police, many routes diverted
Due to rising water level of Yamuna river, traffic problem has arisen in Delhi. Delhi Traffic Police has diverted traffic from Shahdara towards ISBT, Kashmere Gate via Seelampur T-Point via Keshav Chowk – Karkardooma Court – Road No. 57 – NH-24.
