Mumbai Airport: In order to ensure the safe operation of flights from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the police has taken a major decision on Wednesday. The order has been issued.

Para-gliding will be banned in the Free Flight Zone near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai for two months. Apart from this, there will also be a ban on balloons and light-emitting objects. Mumbai Police has imposed this ban. The police officer told on Wednesday that this order will be applicable from June 23 to August 21. Behind this decision of the Mumbai Police, it is being said that there is a possible danger to the planes, so this order has been issued for security reasons.

The Mumbai Police official told that under this order, it will not be allowed to shoot very high fireworks, kites and laser beams. This order has been issued by the DCP (Operation) of Mumbai Police. The order said that it has been reported that there is movement of aircraft in the free flight zone around the airport, Juhu Aerodrome and Naval Air Station INS Shikra due to para-gliding, flying of balloons, overhead fireworks, light emitting objects and kite flying. Safe operation may be at risk. In view of the order being issued from Friday, preparations are being made by the Mumbai Police and people are being informed about it.

In this appeal of Mumbai Police to the common citizens,

it has been said in the report that the landing, take-off and safe flight of the aircraft should not be affected due to these items. Therefore, there was an urgent need for such action. On the basis of the report, prohibitory orders have been imposed immediately for 60 days. Citing the order, the police officer said that if any person sees something that any such activity is being done for the purpose of obstructing the flight, then immediately inform the nearest police station.
