There is good news for the people of Patna, the capital of Bihar. The new terminal building of Patna airport has been started today i.e. 3rd June. The first flight arrived from Bengaluru to Patna which was landed at the new terminal.
On this occasion, the passengers were given a grand welcome. The passengers were brought from the runway to the new terminal building with the help of Airbus, where CISF, airport officials and employees welcomed them with flowers and applause.
Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated this new terminal building on 29 May. After the inauguration, it has now been opened for general passengers. With the new terminal, the operation of Patna airport will now become even more smooth and modern. This terminal has been designed keeping in mind the increasing number of passengers and facilities. In this, state-of-the-art technologies have been used for security, check-in, boarding and other passenger services.
The first flight landed
The flight coming from Bengaluru was of IndiGo and the passengers on board were very impressed with the grandeur and facilities of the new terminal. The passengers said that they feel proud to see such a modern terminal in a city like Patna. According to the information received, from today onwards all the arrival flights will operate from the new terminal, while the departure flights will depart from the old terminal for now. Gradually all the flights will be shifted to the new terminal.
Equipped with many features
The new terminal will now provide passengers with more convenience in check-in and security checks than before. A total of 12 boarding gates, 5 luggage belts, 30 check-in counters and a high-tech CCTV camera system have been installed in it. Along with this, waiting lounge, rest area, food court and many other modern facilities have also been provided for the comfort of the passengers.
