There is a great news for the employees working inside the central government. In fact, the holidays available to central employees have been increased. The central government had announced a new leave policy for the employees some time ago.

Now, under this new leave policy, it has been decided to give leave to the central government employees for 42 days in a year. However, in this new leave policy of the government, some conditions have also been implemented by the government. Only under which government employees will be able to use these holidays. At the same time, special casual leave will also be available in this new policy.

What is this new leave policy

Under this new leave policy, if an employee working under the central government donates an organ, he will get the service of 42 days special emergency leave. DoPT has given information about this by publishing an official notice. If any employee donates any part of the body, it will be considered as the biggest surgery. For this, the employee will also be given 42 days leave for recovery.

How many days emergency leave is available

According to the current rules, 30 holidays are given to employees as emergency leave in a calendar year. Apart from this, now under this new leave policy, maximum 42 days special leave will be given to the employees to promote organ donation among the employees working inside the Central Government. Rules have also been fixed for this. This new leave policy for central employees has been implemented from the month of April itself. However, this rule related to this new leave policy will not apply to the employees working for Railways and All India Services.
