It also includes Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat train. Railways is going to start operation of Vande Bharat train on five different routes. These trains will be flagged off on 26 June 2023.

New Vande Bharat train will run on these routes

The special thing is that for the first time the country is going to get five Vande Bharat trains simultaneously. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off all the trains through video conferencing. The routes on which these new Vande Bharat trains will start operations include Mumbai-Goa, Bengaluru-Hubli, Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore and Bhopal-Jabalpur. Vande Bharat train will be flagged off on all these routes on June 26.

Launch of Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat train was canceled earlier

On June 2, three trains collided with each other in Balasore, Odisha. In this accident, 288 people lost their lives and more than 1,000 people were injured. After this accident, the inauguration program of Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat train was canceled on 3 June. Now the news of starting trains on this route is coming on 26th June.

Vande Bharat is running on 18 routes

Vande Bharat train is running on a total of 18 routes in the country. For the first time in February 2019, this train was operated on the Delhi-Varanasi route. This is a train made of 100 percent Indian technology. This train is also equipped with new technology like Wi-Fi and GPS. Armor technology has also been used for the safety of the train.
