PM Kisan Yojana: The central government is going to release the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme soon. Under this scheme, ₹ 2000 is sent to the accounts of eligible farmers every four months.
The 19th installment of PM Kisan came in February. Accordingly, the 20th installment will come in June, which can be officially announced soon. However, to avail the benefits of this scheme, it is necessary to follow some conditions.

The central government has made it clear that now only those farmers who have completed the registration process will be able to avail the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme. According to a media report, out of a total of 66,900 eligible farmers in a tehsil area, only 35,429 have registered so far.
This means that 30,580 farmers may be deprived of the next installment. The government has also made it clear that farmers must get farmer registration done to avail the benefits of not only the PM Kisan Yojana but all the schemes of the Agriculture Department.
How to register a farmer…
Farmers can register through the ”Farmer Registry UP” mobile app, official portal, or any Common Service Center (CSC). For this, Khatauni’s Gata number and Aadhaar card information are required. The help of Gram Panchayat Assistant, Lekhpal, Agricultural Technical Assistant or Krishi Sakhi can also be taken in registration.
E-KYC is also necessary…
To continue receiving the benefits of PM-KISAN, farmers must also complete e-KYC.

• Click on “Farmers Corner”.
Select the “Update Mobile Number” option.
• Enter Aadhaar number.
• Verify with the OTP received on the mobile.
Any farmer who does not get e-KYC done will not get the next i.e. 20th installment.
What is the Pradhan Mantri-Kisan Yojana?
Under the Pradhan Mantri-Kisan Yojana, the Government of India provides ₹ 6,000 annually to every eligible farmer. This amount is transferred directly to the bank account in three installments of ₹ 2,000 every four months. The 19th installment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 24, in which an amount of ₹ 22,000 crore was transferred to the accounts of about 9.8 crore farmers.
