Post Office Balance Check: You can check post office savings account balance from home, here’s the way

    Check Post Office Savings Account Balance: You must have some or the other bank account? Salary account, savings or current account etc. People have one or the other of these bank accounts.

Here you can open your account and get many other benefits besides tax under Section 80C of the Savings Schemes Income Tax Act.

In such a situation, due to lack of information, people also go to the post office to check their balance. But if you want, you can check the balance of your post office savings account sitting at home. So let’s know what is its method.

    You can check the balance of your account in the post office by these methods: –

    Through the app

    • For this, first of all you have to download IPPB app from Play Store.
    • Then fill Bank Account Number, Customer ID, Date of Birth and Registered Mobile Number
    • After this OTP will come on the registered mobile number, enter it and login
    • Now check your balance by creating M-PIN.
    Step 1 via message
    • To check the balance, first of all, you have to go to the message box and type “register”.
    • Then you have to send this message from your registered mobile number to this number 7738062873
    • After this your mobile number will be registered for SMS facility
    Step 2
    • Now you have to go to the message box again and type “Balance” here
    • Then send this typed message to 7738062873 from your registered mobile number
    • After this you can see your balance.
    From customer care
    • To know the balance sitting at home, you have to call toll free number 155299 from your registered mobile number.
    • Now come here in the IVR and select the language of your choice
    • Then you have to give your account information here
    • After this process is done, you can choose the option of Get Balance and know your balance.
