Indian Railways keeps making efforts to provide better travel facilities to its passengers. Track doubling work is going on in many divisions. This impacts rail services and the Railways keeps canceling, diverting or rescheduling many trains. Railways of different zones keep sharing this information on their official Twitter handle.

South Western Railways gave information about canceled trains-

While sharing information about canceled trains on its official Twitter handle, South Western Railway has said that train numbers 01595 and 01596 Karwar-Madgaon Junction-Karwar Daily Special have been cancelled. This train will be completely canceled between 15th and 21st December and its operation will resume from 21st December.

North Western Railway cancelled these trains-

Due to the ongoing block work in Ajmer division, a situation of traffic block has arisen. In view of this, North Western Railways has decided to cancel many trains. In this, Jodhpur-Sabarmati (14821) will be canceled on 15 December, Sabarmati-Jodhpur Express (14822) will be canceled on 16 December. Whereas Bhagat Ki Kothi-Bandra Terminus (19411) will remain canceled on 15th December. Apart from this, Sabarmati-Daulatpur Chowk (20944) is going to be canceled on 15th December and Daulatpur Chowk-Sabarmati (19412) is going to be canceled on 16th December. In such a situation, if you are going to travel in these trains, then check its schedule once.

Northern Railway cancelled many trains-

Northern Railway, Lucknow Division, has decided to cancel many trains for the next one month due to the work of doubling the track in Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Shahganj-Zaffrabad section. The list of canceled trains includes Lucknow-Barauni Express (15204), Gorakhpur-Lucknow Intercity Express (12531/32), Gomti Nagar-Chhapra Kachari Express (15113), Gorakhpur-Aishbagh Intercity Express (15069), Chhapra-Mathura-Chhapra Superfast Express. Many trains like (22531/32) are canceled on 15th December.

Fog is not affecting flight services-

Apart from railways, the effect of fog on air services in North India is also not visible at present. According to the information given on the official X handle of Delhi Airport, flights are operating normally at Delhi Airport. At present it is taking 1 to 9 minutes for terminal entry.
