Indian Railway: Indian Railways will now start Vande Bharat train on two to three new routes every week. Vande Bharat train is now being constructed with three times more capacity.

In fact, Indian Railways is going to start Vande Bharat trains one after the other on many new routes. According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, the focus of the Railways these days is to increase the production of Vande Bharat trains, so that they can be run on new routes as soon as possible.

What else did the Railway Minister say?

Right now there is a demand to start Vande Bharat train from railway zones across the country. In view of that, Railways has taken this decision. The Railway Minister said that the government plans to roll out 2 to 3 Vande Bharat trains every week.

Earlier, the Railway Minister said that till now Vande Bharat trains were being made only at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, but now Vande Bharat Express trains will also be made in Sonepat in Haryana, Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh and Latur in Maharashtra.

Railways has planned to spend a total of Rs 75,000 crore to repair the infrastructure for Vande Bharat trains. Will run three Vande Bharat trains per week by the end of the next financial year. That is, there is a plan to run a total of 400 Vande Bharat trains in the country in the next three years.

Significantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the country’s 9th and 10th Vande Bharat Express trains on Friday. Both the trains will be inaugurated from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal, Mumbai at around 2.45 pm. The train will run on two different routes. One train will cover the distance from Mumbai to Solapur and the other from Mumbai to Sainagar Shirdi. Railways has so far run 8 semi-high speed Vande Bharat trains which are providing services in different states of the country.
