School Closed: There is news of work for school children studying from nursery to 12th in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Due to dense fog and severe cold here, the district administration has declared holiday on 29th and 30th December in all the schools up to class 12th.
The next day, 31st December, being a Sunday, schools will also remain closed. After this, winter vacations (UP Winter Vacation 2023) will start. District Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar has told the media that District Magistrate Manish Verma has ordered to keep all the schools running in Gautam Buddha Nagar district closed on 29th and 30th December in view of dense fog and severe cold. Panwar said that all the teachers/employees working in the said schools will work as before.
Action will be taken if orders are not followed
He said that this order will also be applicable to schools affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) and other boards, council schools, government schools and government aided schools. Action will be taken against schools that do not follow the order.
