School holiday: The period of intense heat continues. In view of the scorching sun and rising temperatures, summer holidays have been announced in many states. In many states, summer holidays have been announced before time.
With the end of the examinations, the state government has decided to close the schools keeping in mind the health of the children and the heatwave.
So far, summer vacation has been announced in Delhi, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Summer vacation has already been implemented in Chhattisgarh, while vacation will be announced soon in states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar.
Declaration of public holiday
Meanwhile, once again a public holiday has been declared. The benefit of which will be availed by the officials and employees along with the children. In the months of April, May and June, many schools do not have classes for a long time. In some states, the school timings are changed so that the children can be saved from the scorching sun. In such a situation, the Punjab government has declared a public holiday across the state on the occasion of Lord Parshuram Jayanti on 29 April. On this day all government offices, schools and colleges will also remain closed.
Many state governments have also announced the date of summer vacation
Apart from this, the date of summer vacation has also been announced by many state governments.
- Summer vacation will be declared in Delhi schools from May 11 which will last till June 30. However, teachers will have to report to school by June 28 .
- In Jharkhand, summer vacation began from May 22 and will continue till June 4.
- In Tamil Nadu, the class-wise holiday schedule for students has been released. Summer break has been declared from 22 April to 1 June for students from classes 1 to 5, while for children from class 6 to 9, it is from 25 April to 1 June, and for class 10, it is from 15 April to 1 June.
- In Himachal Pradesh, holiday has been declared from June 1 to June 8. In some areas, holiday has been declared from June 22 to July 29.
- Summer vacation has started in Chhattisgarh. In fact, in view of the scorching heat, the school administration has announced early summer vacation.
Announcement yet to be made in these states
- Along with this, in Uttar Pradesh too, summer vacation is expected from the second week of May, whereas in Bihar too, schools will be closed from the second week of May. The schools will be reopened only after June 15.
- Summer vacation can be announced in Rajasthan from the first week of May. However, according to Shivira Panchang, summer vacation is expected to start from the second week of May and continue till the third week of June.
