Service Charge Increased: This bank will increase the service charge, know the new rate list

    Government Bank, Canara Bank has increased the service charge of many financial and non-financial transactions. The service charge has been increased for both the transaction in your bank branch or in other bank branch. The service charge has been increased for both Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account and Non Basic Savings Deposit Account. According to Canara Bank, the changed service charges will be implemented from September 20, 2022. Before September 20, banking service can be availed at the old rates only.

    Non-Basic Savings Account will be charged

    Rs 30 plus GST for financial transactions (cash deposit or cash withdrawal or fund transfer) done in another bank branch.
    For non-financial transactions like withdrawal of mini statement from other bank branch, Rs.6 plus GST will have to be paid per transaction.
    For financial transactions like cash withdrawal at Canara Bank branch, Rs.25 plus GST per transaction, after 4 cash withdrawals in a month.
    No charges will be levied for non-financial transactions such as withdrawal of mini statement at Canara Bank branch.

    Financial transactions such as cash withdrawal or fund transfer debiting Basic Savings Bank Deposit Accounts
    at branches of Canara Bank and other banks will attract Rs 20 plus GST per transaction. However, this rule is applicable when 4 transactions have been done in a month from branch, ATM or any bank branch.
