 Indian stock markets (BSE and NSE) will remain closed for a total of 8 days in July 2025, which includes only regular holidays on Saturday and Sunday. There is no separate exchange holiday this month.

Usually there is no trading in the stock market on weekends. According to the NSE trading holiday list, the next official market closure will be on August 15 (Independence Day), apart from this, the market will be closed on August 16, Saturday and August 17, Sunday. After this, the market will be closed on Ganesh Chaturthi on August 27. A total of 14 trading holidays have been fixed for the entire year 2025.

Bank holidays in July

Banks will also remain closed for 13 days in July. Apart from the 4 Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays of the month, there will be no work in banks for 7 more days. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act of RBI, banks will remain closed in view of local festivals and religious festivals in many different states. However, during this time customers can take the help of online banking.
