Old Vehicles News: Old vehicle owners in Delhi have got relief from the Supreme Court. The court has ordered that no action be taken on 10-year-old diesel and 15-year-old petrol vehicles for the time being.

The owners of old vehicles have got a big relief from the Supreme Court. The court has ordered that no action will be taken against 10-year-old diesel and 15-year-old petrol vehicles for the time being. This matter is related to the 2018 decision, in which it was decided to ban old diesel and petrol vehicles in Delhi. The Delhi government had filed an application in the Supreme Court seeking a review of this decision. During the hearing, the Supreme Court clarified that there will be no coercive or punitive action against the owners of ‘end of life vehicles’, that is, vehicles that have reached their final state. The court has issued a notice to the central government and asked it to respond within four weeks.

Now this matter will be heard again after four weeks. The order was issued by a bench headed by Chief Justice B. R. Gavai. With this decision of the court, the owners of old vehicles in Delhi and adjoining areas have got a big relief for the time being, although the final decision will be taken only after the hearing.

When will the ban take effect, in advance?

The recent Supreme Court verdict on old vehicles in Delhi-NCR is a significant turning point amid the ongoing crackdown over the past several months. There is already a ban on diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years in the capital. The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) and the Transport Department have declared them as ‘End of Life’ (EOL) vehicles.

ANPR cameras were installed at petrol pumps from July 1, which detect the number plates of such vehicles and prevent them from being supplied with fuel. The Delhi government, in collaboration with the police and transport enforcement teams, has increased surveillance in several areas. Petrol pumps were warned that action will be taken against them if they supply fuel to banned vehicles.

However, the Supreme Court has given relief to the vehicle owners for now. The court said that there will be no compulsory fine or seizure of these vehicles. This order came at a time when the Delhi government had implemented a plan to stop the sale of petrol and diesel for old vehicles. Now the response has been sought from the Centre and other parties and the next hearing of the case will be after four weeks.

The mood of the weather is changing in many states across the country. There is heat in some places, while there is a possibility of heavy rain, storm and lightning in other places. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is heavy rain with thunder in many areas of eastern and central India.

According to the weather department, heavy rains are expected in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Odisha in the next 48 hours. However, this is causing a lot of trouble for the local people. According to IMD, heavy rains are expected in Chhapra, Gopalganj, Siwan, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur in Bihar. On the other hand, storm conditions have developed in Bokaro, Chaibasa, Dumka, Hazaribagh and Ranchi in Jharkhand.

Heat will increase in Delhi NCR

The maximum day temperature in Delhi-NCR can reach 35 to 38 degree Celsius, which is a few degrees more than normal. The minimum temperature is also expected to be around 16 to 19 degrees. The effect of heat will increase due to strong sunlight, but humidity can also be felt due to the presence of moisture in the air. The heat wave will continue in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan, but due to the effect of western disturbance, light rain or drizzle is expected in these areas. Especially in the northern parts of Rajasthan like Hanumangarh and Ganganagar, there are chances of cloud cover and light rain. At the same time, moderate rain with thunder may occur in West Bengal and Odisha in eastern India. According to Skymet, strong winds may also blow in these areas, which will change the weather.

Cold continues in Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal

On the other hand, light to moderate rain is expected in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in South India, while the temperature in coastal areas will remain slightly above normal. Snowfall may stop in hilly areas like Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, however, the cold will remain. Overall, the weather in India on Monday (March 24, 2025) will be hot, humid and rainy.

Winds will blow at a speed of 60 to 80 kilometers per hour

The weather department has predicted lightning along with storm in Uttar Pradesh. Not only UP, there are high chances of lightning in Chhattisgarh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Sikkim. Along with this, winds are expected to blow at a speed of 60 to 80 kilometers per hour in these states. In many places in the hilly states of North India, the maximum temperature has reached above 36 degrees.

If you live in Delhi-NCR and often travel to Delhi by your own vehicle, then this news is for you. Delhi Traffic Police has issued a new order for drivers.

Under this, if you are caught rash driving (driving carelessly or unsafely) or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs more than three times, then your license will be canceled. This step of Delhi Traffic Police is to stop the increasing number of fatal accidents on the roads of the capital and to take strict action against “habitual violators”.

Road accidents increased rapidly

According to the data of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, road accidents have increased from 1.38 lakh to more than 1.68 lakh in the last three years. In view of this, the traffic police has written a letter to the Transport Department and requested to take action including cancellation of license of drivers who habitually violate traffic rules. Let us tell you that in 2021 in Delhi, 1,239 people were killed in 1,206 accidents. In 2024, till December 15, this number reached 1,431 people in 1,398 accidents. This means that in 2021, an average of three people died in vehicle accidents per day and in 2024 this number increased to four per day.

Amendment in the Motor Vehicles Act

The Motor Vehicles Act, enacted in 1988, was amended in 2019, increasing the penalty amount for most offences from around Rs 100 to the current range of Rs 500- Rs 20,000. A recent letter by the Delhi Traffic Police to the Delhi Transport Department recommended cancellation of driving licences of those found violating Section 184 and/or 185 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, three or more times. These sections deal with dangerous driving – which includes offences such as jumping red lights, wrongly overtaking and using the phone while driving – besides driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Rain Alert : The weather has suddenly changed in Delhi-NCR and many parts of North India. In the last 24 hours, strong cold winds blew in Delhi-NCR, due to which the temperature dropped. People felt as if the cold has returned again.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snowfall continues in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand, due to which the effect of cold has increased further in the hilly areas. In the past day, light to heavy snowfall occurred in many areas of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh, due to which many roads were closed and traffic was affected.

Effect of cold winds in Delhi-NCR

According to the Meteorological Department, strong cold winds blew at a speed of 30 km per hour throughout the day in Delhi-NCR on March 4, due to which the maximum temperature dropped by about 5 degrees. The minimum temperature was also recorded at 9.6 degrees Celsius, which was much lower than normal. The humidity level in the air was recorded at 22%.

Today, on March 4, there is a possibility of strong winds in Delhi and surrounding areas, whose speed can be 20-30 km per hour. However, the sky will remain clear and the sunshine during the day will provide some relief. According to weather experts, there may be light fog in the morning between March 6 and 9, but the weather will be clear during the day. There is also a possibility of cloudiness on March 8 and 9.

Snowfall continues in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir

Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, heavy snowfall and rain continues in the hilly states of North India. In the last 24 hours, light snowfall occurred in Chamba and Kullu of Himachal Pradesh, while heavy snowfall was recorded in Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in Himachal Pradesh and advised people not to travel unnecessarily.

Due to snowfall, many roads have been closed due to landslides and snow accumulation. Due to landslides and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, schools and examinations have been postponed in some places. In Jammu and Kashmir too, normal life has been affected in many areas due to snowfall. There has been heavy snowfall in the higher areas of Kashmir Valley, due to which a drop in temperature has been recorded.

How will the weather be in the coming days?

According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snowfall along with thunderstorms are likely to continue in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir on March 4 and 5. Another western disturbance is going to be active from March 9, due to which the weather may remain bad in many parts of North India even during Holi. During this time, light rain can also be seen in some parts of Delhi-NCR including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh.

Rain forecast with strong winds in Punjab and Haryana

The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for Punjab and Haryana. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance on March 9, strong winds at the speed of 30-40 km per hour are expected in these states. Apart from this, hailstorms may also occur at some places.

Rainfall in Northeast India too

Weather changes are also being seen in Northeast India. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura. A cyclonic circulation is active in these areas, due to which the weather may remain affected for the next few days.

How will the weather be in Rajasthan and South India?

While the effect of winter remains in North India, the maximum temperature in Rajasthan is expected to increase by 2 to 3 degrees in the next 3 days. At the same time, heat and humidity will remain in Konkan-Goa and coastal areas of Karnataka in South India. The weather has suddenly changed in many parts of North India.

The temperature has dropped due to cold winds in Delhi-NCR, while heavy snowfall in Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir has made the situation difficult. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in many states of North India in the coming days. At the same time, heat will increase in Rajasthan and the period of humidity and heat will continue in South India. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be cautious and avoid unnecessary travel.

IMD Alert: The weather has changed once again across the country and the effect of cold is reducing in some states. However, light fog has been seen in the morning and evening in some areas of North India, while the weather remains clear in Himachal Pradesh and its surrounding states up to Delhi-NCR.

Despite the cold wave, a little heat is felt during the day due to the sunshine. The north-western winds have eased the intensity of the cold, but the winter season is not over yet. According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is becoming active towards Pakistan, due to which cold wave will continue in North India for the next 5 days.

Effect of western disturbance

According to the Meteorological Department, the western disturbance will enter the hilly areas on January 29-30, due to which the weather is likely to change in North India. After this, there may be heavy rains in the first week of February, which may further increase the cold. For the next few days, north-western winds will blow from Punjab to Uttar Pradesh and from Bihar to Jharkhand, which will further aggravate the cold wave.

Along with this, anti-cyclonic circulation is going to become active in the Vidarbha region. This will be the combined effect of western disturbance and cyclonic circulation, which will increase the humidity in the air and the possibility of rain will be strong in the first week of February.

Rain alert for 2 days in Delhi-NCR

The weather department has forecast that the weather in Delhi-NCR will change from the night of January 29, and there is a possibility of rain in the next few days. At present, despite the cold wave in Delhi, it is feeling warm during the day. Although chill is felt in the morning and evening, there is some relief due to the sunshine during the day.

On January 25, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 23.7 degrees and a minimum temperature of 9.8 degrees. By January 27, the minimum temperature is expected to be 9.05 degrees and the maximum temperature is expected to be 23.45 degrees. Along with this, the humidity in the air is 32% and the wind is blowing at a speed of 32 kilometers per hour.

Rain and fog warning in other states

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is expected in Northeast Assam and Arunachal Pradesh from January 29, as a cyclonic circulation is active in the northeastern region. At the same time, snowfall and rain may occur in the western Himalayan region on January 29 and 30.

Cold wave will prevail in parts of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab during January 25-26. Apart from this, dense fog may occur in Gangetic West Bengal, East Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Cold days are expected in parts of Bihar especially till January 26.

Diesel Vehicle Ban: These days, not only Delhi NCR, but the entire country is facing breathing problems due to pollution. The main reason for which is believed to be diesel vehicles.

Now the government has also come into action mode against diesel vehicles. Not only this, the government has also made preparations to ban diesel vehicles very soon. Let us tell you that the AQI level in NCR has crossed B 400 these days. Due to which GRAP 4 was implemented. Not only this, doctors have advised asthma patients not to leave the house.. Also, they have been asked to avoid morning walks..

Diesel vehicles will not run from this day

According to media reports, diesel vehicles cause the most pollution. Therefore, they should be banned with immediate effect. Let us tell you that it has also been argued that now EV vehicles will be promoted. Not only this, in a few days the government is also going to announce a subsidy scheme on EVs. The Energy Transition Advisory Committee has recommended a complete ban on the sale of diesel vehicles from 2027. That is, you can drive a diesel vehicle only for two and a half years. After that car companies will also stop selling diesel vehicles…

Initially, there will be a ban here

Let us tell you that in the initial phase, diesel vehicles will be banned in some selected cities of the country. These standards have been set for this. Cities with a population of more than 10 lakhs will be banned initially. Slowly, diesel vehicles will disappear from the country. Actually, at present, a ban has been imposed on driving diesel vehicles older than 10 years in the country. But it is possible that under the new ban, some of these vehicles may also be included in this proposal.

Advice not to buy diesel vehicles

If you are planning to buy a diesel vehicle right now, then you can postpone it. Because sources claim that the government is going to take more stringent decisions regarding diesel vehicles. Therefore, to avoid losses, it would be better to postpone the decision of buying a diesel vehicle for now. Therefore, you should consider EV, petrol or CNG vehicle as an option…

These days, Delhi-NCR is in a bad condition due to pollution. The sky is covered with a blanket of smog. With the falling temperature, this problem is increasing even more rapidly. At many places, the AQI is either close to 400 or has crossed 400.

According to the AQI Index, the pollution in Delhi-NCR is in a state of ‘very bad’ to ‘severe’. In such a situation, it is becoming difficult for people to breathe. Along with this, many health related problems are occurring.

Amidst these circumstances, the government has tightened its grip on those who burn stubble. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has issued a notification regarding this. According to the notification, now a fine of up to Rs 30,000 has been imposed on those who burn stubble in Delhi-NCR.

Penalty will have to be paid for every incident of stubble burning

According to the notification, now a fine will have to be paid for every incident of stubble burning in Delhi-NCR. Some criteria have also been fixed for how much fine will be imposed on whom-

If the land is less than 2 acres, a fine of 5 thousand rupees will have to be paid for every incident of stubble burning.

If the land is more than 2 acres and less than 5 acres, the fine will be 10 thousand rupees.

If the land is more than 5 acres, a fine of 30 thousand rupees will have to be paid.

Stubble is one of the major causes of pollution

Let us tell you that stubble is the main reason for the increasing pollution in Delhi-NCR every year. These days, paddy harvesting is almost over in Haryana, Punjab and entire North India. In such a situation, incidents of stubble burning are also at their peak. Delhi has turned into a gas chamber due to this smoke of stubble. The level of pollution in Delhi’s air has reached a very dangerous level. There is a blanket of smog in the sky. In such a situation, the Delhi government has now increased the strictness on those who burn stubble so that these incidents can be controlled.

The route of the light rail will be integrated with the Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS). Through the light rail transit system in Greater Noida, Noida International Airport will be linked to Film City via Yamuna Expressway.

Noida. After metro, rapid rail, mono rail, now preparations are underway to run light rail in Delhi-NCR. Through the light rail transit system, Noida International Airport will be linked to Film City via Yamuna Expressway. It will be integrated with Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS). According to a TOI report, this decision related to light rail has been taken in the board meeting of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. During this, NCR Transport Corporation gave a presentation on the 72 km long rapid rail. This rapid rail route is planned to be built between Noida Airport and Ghaziabad.

Earlier there was a proposal for pod taxi

After this meeting, officials said that a proposal has been sent to the central government for approval of the proposal for a light rail link from Noida Airport to Film City. Earlier, there was a plan to connect this 14 km long route through pod taxis. A plan was prepared in this regard in 2021. For this, the first tender for 12 stations on the expressway was issued in July last year, with an estimated project cost of Rs 641.5 crore.

Now Metro, RRTS and Light Rail will run on the same track

However, YEIDA was then tasked to study the options between pod taxis and light rail. After the Uttar Pradesh government approved the 72-km RRTS corridor connecting Ghaziabad and Noida airport, the NCRTC submitted a project report that included the options of pod taxis or light rail.

YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh said, “The plan now is to have three services – metro, RRTS and light rail – on the same track, with only loops and sections different. Metro trains will run at an interval of 3.5 minutes, rapid rail every 7 minutes and light rail every 8 minutes.” The UP government has already approved the plan, which has now been sent to the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry for approval.

If you have to go for some important work in Delhi-NCR today (22 August) and tomorrow (23 August), then be careful. It will be difficult to get an auto-taxi. In such a situation, you will have to resort to your personal vehicle or public transport.

In fact, the major auto taxi driver organizations of NCR have announced a strike on 22 and 23 August. During this time, about 4 lakh passenger auto-taxis will not run on the road for two days. Due to this, people may have to face many difficulties. However, officials of the Transport Department have claimed that the strike will not have much impact and people will not face any special problems.

Along with the organization, officials of all auto-taxi organizations will sit at Jantar Mantar today with their demands. Permission has been received from Delhi Police for this protest. More than 15 major auto and taxi drivers of Delhi-NCR, including Taxi Chalak Sena Union, Delhi Auto Tricycle Driver Union, Rajdhani Tourist Driver Union, have announced a strike.

Also Read: NCRTC and DMRC launch Integrated QR-ticketing system for Seamless Travel

Why is the strike happening?

The union says that for the past several months, they have been writing letters to the officials and ministers of the central and Delhi governments informing them about the problems of auto taxi drivers. They are demanding a meeting to resolve these issues. But no attention has been paid to our demands so far. Kishan Verma, president of All Delhi Auto-Taxi Transport Congress U., said that with the support of the governments, app-based autos, taxis and two-wheelers are running rampantly in Delhi, flouting the rules. Apart from this, illegal e-rickshaws are also running on a large scale. This is affecting the employment of legally running auto taxi drivers. Hence, a strike has been announced.

Private taxis involved in smuggling

Kishan further said that private Ola and Uber taxis are involved in smuggling. They also deal in alcohol and drugs. We are going on strike to resolve these issues. Kishan also said that companies with apps are taking up to 45 percent commission. We are not getting anything. E-rickshaws and bikes with private number plates are running on the roads (in Ola-Uber). The government should launch its own app. During the strike, autos, black-yellow taxis, economic radio taxis and taxis with All India Tourist Permit will also not be seen on the roads of Delhi.

Strong earthquake tremors have been felt in Delhi-NCR. The earthquake was so strong that people felt its shock for a long time. According to NCS (National Center for Seismology), the epicenter of this earthquake was in Jorm in Hindukush province of Afghanistan. The intensity of the first earthquake that occurred here was measured at 4.1 on the Richter scale, while the second earthquake was even more intense, whose intensity was 6.1.

Due to the strong tremors of these double earthquakes that came one after the other, people got scared and came out of their homes and offices in fear. At present there is no news of any loss of life or property due to this earthquake. The intensity of the earthquake in Afghanistan was measured at 6.1, whose tremors were also felt in some parts of North India. National Seismology Center gave this information.

The epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at 2:50 pm Indian time, was 241 kilometers north-northeast of Kabul. The earthquake spread panic among the people. Many people in Delhi and the National Capital Region said that they felt earthquake tremors.

What to do and what not to do in case of an earthquake

1- If you are inside a building, sit on the floor and go under some strong furniture. If there is no table or such furniture, cover your face and head with your hands and sit crouching in a corner of the room.

2- If you are outside the building, move away from the building, trees, poles and wires.

3- If you are traveling in a vehicle, then stop the vehicle as soon as possible and remain sitting inside the vehicle.

4- If you are buried under a pile of debris, never light a match, neither move nor push anything.

5- In case you are buried under debris, tap lightly on any pipe or wall, so that the rescue workers can understand your situation. If you have a whistle, blow it.

6- Make noise only when there is no other option. Making noise can suffocate your breath with dust and dirt.

7- Always keep a disaster relief kit ready in your home.

Drivers going out of Delhi NCR must pay attention. This news is important news for them. Keeping the Kartik fair in mind, the traffic police has implemented a diversion plan which will start from today till November 29.

Therefore, before leaving home, check the route plan. Ghaziabad’s ADCP Traffic Ramanand Kushwaha said that a large number of devotees visit the Kartik Purnima fair. For this reason, heavy commercial vehicles going from NH-9 towards Lucknow via Hapur and Garhmukteshwar have been banned from today.

For this, the traffic police has implemented a diversion plan, which will remain in effect till November 29. According to the traffic police, there is no ban on commercial vehicles coming from Hapur towards Ghaziabad via NH-9. Apart from this, heavy commercial vehicles going from Ghaziabad towards Hapur, Amroha, Lucknow via NH-9 will take Eastern Peripheral Expressway or National Highway No. 91 from Dasna via Bulandshahr, Dibai, Narora, Babrala, Bahjoi, Chandausi. Will be able to go to the destination.

The traffic police has appealed to the people to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. However, the diversion plan can be amended if necessary.

The Supreme Court has made it clear that the guidelines it has issued so far regarding firecrackers are not only for Delhi-NCR but for the entire country. In such a situation, let us know what guidelines have been issued by the Supreme Court regarding firecrackers.

Will we be able to burst crackers this time or not? This question arises as soon as Diwali approaches. Bombay High Court has refused to impose a complete ban on firecrackers. Now the Supreme Court has also made it clear that the instructions issued earlier regarding firecrackers were not only for Delhi-NCR but for the entire country.

The Supreme Court made it clear on Tuesday that the first guidelines issued by it regarding firecrackers are for the entire country and there is no need to issue any separate instructions for any state.

The case in which the Supreme Court said this while hearing is pending since 2015. This petition was filed at that time on behalf of Arjun Gopal, Aarav Bhandari and Zoya Rao Bhasin. At that time she was between 6 to 14 months old. This petition was filed on behalf of the Legal Guardian.

In this petition, there was a demand for a complete ban on firecrackers. This petition has not been settled yet, but during the hearing on it, the court had issued guidelines twice.

The bench of Justice AS Bopanna and Justice MM Sundaresh is hearing this. Justice Bopanna said that nowadays it is not children but adults who burn firecrackers. At the same time, Justice Sundaresh said that when it comes to environmental protection, a wrong impression is made that it is the work of the court only.

What are the guidelines on firecrackers?

The Supreme Court has issued guidelines twice regarding firecrackers. First time on 23 October 2018 and second time on 29 October 2018.

During this time, the Supreme Court had made it clear that there is no complete ban on firecrackers and only those firecrackers which contain barium salt are banned.

In October 2018, the Supreme Court had banned the sale and burning of all firecrackers except green firecrackers. Online sale of these firecrackers was also banned.

Along with this, the Supreme Court had also fixed the time for bursting firecrackers. According to the guidelines, firecrackers can be burst from 8 to 10 pm on Diwali. At the same time, crackers can be burst from 11:55 to 12:30 on the night of Christmas and New Year.

What instructions did SC give on pollution?

– In October 2018, the Supreme Court banned the sale of BS-IV engine vehicles after April 1, 2020.

– In October 2018 itself, the Supreme Court fixed the time for bursting firecrackers on Diwali and other festivals from 8 to 10 pm. Also ordered to sell only green firecrackers.

– In 2018, the Supreme Court banned 15 year old petrol and 10 year old diesel vehicles from running on the roads of NCR.

– 2019 The court said that people in Delhi-NCR are losing ‘precious years of life’ due to pollution and they cannot be left to die like this. The Supreme Court had ordered Punjab, Haryana and Western UP not to burn stubble.

How responsible are Diwali firecrackers for pollution?

For some years, the sale and use of firecrackers is banned as soon as Diwali approaches. Especially in Delhi-NCR and surrounding areas. This is done so that the deteriorating air can be saved from getting worse.

In February 2018, the University of Minnesota and the National Institute of Finance and Policy conducted a study on the impact of firecrackers on Delhi’s bad air. For this, data was taken from 2013 to 2016. Based on the data, it was claimed that the amount of PM2.5 in Delhi had increased by 40% every year on the next day of Diwali. At the same time, there was a 100% increase in PM2.5 between 6 pm and 11 pm on Diwali.

Similarly, the report of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) came in May 2021. In this report, information about air pollution and noise pollution before and after Diwali 2020 was given. This report contained data of 8 cities including Delhi, Bhopal, Agra, Bengaluru.

It was told in this report that after Diwali, the amount of PM10 had increased by 22% to 114% in 8 cities the next day. According to this, after Diwali the amount of PM10 in Delhi had increased by 67.1%. Whereas, in Lucknow it had increased by 114%. At the same time, the amount of PM2.5 had increased by 82.9% in Delhi and 67.6% in Lucknow.

The post Firecrackers Guidelines: Supreme Court issues new guidelines regarding firecrackers, check new guideline first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

The weather is going to change in different parts of the country including Delhi-NCR. There is an alert for rain in Delhi NCR for three days. Read this report to know from which date the weather will change…

Due to not favorable weather conditions in Delhi-NCR, the effect of Western Disturbance will be seen late. The Meteorological Department has said in its All India Weather Bulletin that from March 16, the Western Disturbance will gain full force. The effect of this western disturbance will be seen on the whole country.

The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of hailstorm in many parts of the country. The effect of Western Disturbance will be clearly visible in Delhi NCR for three days. In most parts of NCR, after March 16, there are chances of rain on March 17 and 18 as well.

Mercury will fall due to drizzle The Meteorological Department says that at present three different weather activities are active in different parts of the country. The Western Disturbance is gaining momentum in the Himalayan region and on the other hand a cyclonic circulation is forming. Not only this, a low air pressure area is also being formed at two places.

Overall, the above conditions are pointing towards major upheavals in the weather. According to the Meteorological Department, light drizzle is expected in Delhi NCR on Friday and Saturday. Due to this, the temperature can drop up to two degrees. However, the maximum temperature would remain above normal.

There is a possibility of hailstorm on March 18 and 19 , while according to the report of the private agency Skymet Weather, which issued the weather forecast, the Western Disturbance will gain momentum from March 16, due to which the weather in Delhi NCR will change. Light rain may start in Delhi NCR from the night of 16 March.

Further, on March 17 and 19, the intensity of Western Disturbance will be more. Meteorologists say that this western disturbance will be so powerful that by March 21, the movement of clouds can be seen in the sky. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some parts of Delhi/NCR on March 18 and 19.

That’s why it is getting hot.

Generally, most parts of the country get rains due to western disturbances. Since the western disturbances that have come this time have been less active. Due to this, there has been less rainfall than normal in the plains. This is the reason why most parts of the country including Delhi NCR are experiencing extreme heat.

Delhi’s Safdarjung area recorded a maximum temperature of 33.3 degrees Celsius, which is four notches above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 17.5 degree Celsius, which is two notches above normal. The maximum temperature can be recorded at 34 degree Celsius on Wednesday.

In the mountainous, plains and coastal areas of the country, there are chances of rain amid the scorching heat. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) estimates that there may be drizzle in some areas of Delhi-NCR on Tuesday.

On the other hand, on March 17 or 18, rain with thunder is possible in Delhi and its surrounding areas. The Meteorological Department estimates that the minimum temperature in Delhi this week could go up to 16 and the maximum temperature could go up to 35 degrees Celsius. Weather scientists say that despite rain and strong wind in different areas of the country, there is little hope of getting a big respite from the heat as the movement of mercury will continue to increase.

Rain possible in four states as well

According to the Meteorological Department, rain is possible in some areas of southern Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra’s Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana and northern Karnataka this week. The storm is expected to bring rains between March 16 and March 22 over the southern peninsula along with most areas of the country. It is estimated that there may be rain with thunder.

There will be unseasonal rains in Maharashtra

According to the climate trend, there will be unseasonal rains in many parts of the country this week. Due to increase in heat in the mountains, plains and coastal areas, such possibilities are being created. After March 15 to 17, rain is possible in parts of South, Central and East India. Wind speed reaching 34 to 40 kmph is likely over the sub-Himalayan areas of West Bengal, Sikkim and North India.

According to the latest

assessment of IMD, the maximum temperature in North West India may go up by two to three degrees Celsius in the next three days. Similarly, in central India, the maximum temperature can rise up to two degrees Celsius. Wind will blow with light rain in many states of the country, but there will be no significant difference in the movement of mercury.

Uttar Pradesh: Severe heatwave next week

The Meteorological Department has predicted that there may be light rains in the Purvanchal areas of Uttar Pradesh this week. At the same time, a rain alert has been issued in western UP. There is a possibility of rain in western UP. Strong wind has been predicted in many areas of the state. Next week, heat waves can create problems in many cities here.

Uttarakhand: According to the Yellow Alert

Meteorological Department in five districts, there may be rain for a few days this week and light snow at higher altitude places. Yellow alert has been issued in view of possibility of light rain and snowfall in five districts of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh. Weather will remain dry in Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital.

Jharkhand: Rain with thunder and lightning

According to IMD’s Ranchi-based weather station, rain with thunder is possible in many areas including Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga and Koderma in the northwest of the state.Hail may also fall at some places.Even after changing the weather pattern, there is little hope for the people to get relief from the heat as the trend of temperature will continue to rise.

Why such chances are being created

1. Due to Western Disturbance, rain is possible in plains along with Western Himalayan regions
2. Due to cyclonic circulation in East Madhya Pradesh and Telangana, such conditions are being created
3. Increase in moisture from Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea Rain conditions are also being created due to
4. Due to the rapid increase in temperature, chances of early rains are also being created

The post IMD Alert!

The year 2022 is about to go and with the onset of the new year, many happiness is also going to come. But if you do not take care of some things, then the very first day of the year is going to be heavy on your pocket.

Actually some rules are going to be changed from January 1, 2023. These are new traffic rules and their notifications have already been issued by the government. Along with the change in the rules, there is something that will save you a lot of money this year.

Although the traffic police in Delhi NCR has already taken strict action regarding traffic rules and it is going to increase with the new year. At the same time, in view of the celebration of the new year, the police has increased the guard a lot.

Let us know how you can save lakhs by taking care of some simple things. High security number plate From January 1, 2023, it is necessary to have high security number plate in the car. If it is not in the car, then your challan of Rs 5,000 can be deducted, as well as the police can also seize your car.

In this regard, the government had already issued a notification and before January 1, it had been said to mandatorily install high security number plates. In such a situation, if your car does not have a high security number plate, then get it installed in these two days only. In view of the drink and drive New Year celebrations, the police in Delhi NCR has tightened up.

There is a provision of challan of 2 to 15 thousand and jail term of 6 months to 2 years on those who drink and drive in the name of celebrating New Year’s party. In such a situation, do celebrate the New Year, but do not drive the car after drinking alcohol, nor let anyone else do it. Even if you have consumed alcohol, book a cab or auto and reach your destination.

This will keep you safe as well as the other person walking on the road. Take advantage of insurance If your insurance is going to end in the coming one month, then this is the right time to renew it. Because IRDAI is considering new rules regarding insurance premium. In such a situation, getting car insurance can prove to be expensive. In such a situation, if you get the insurance done before January 1, it will be cheaper to a great extent. If you are planning to buy a car then this is the right time.

The reason behind this is that due to the end of the year, car companies are offering huge discounts to clear the stock. At the same time, almost all companies are going to increase the prices of their cars from January 2023. In such a situation, this will prove to be the right time for you to buy a car.

In the national capital Delhi, the price of CNG has been increased by 95 paise per kg. The new price will be applicable from 6 am on 17 December 2022.

This increase has been announced by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL). Now you have to pay Rs 79.56 for filling one kilogram of CNG in Delhi. Earlier on October 8, the price of CNG was increased in Delhi.

Last time the price of CNG was increased by Rs 3 per kg in Delhi. Since then, the price of CNG in Delhi had gone up to Rs 78.61/kg. Explain that CNG is available at Rs 86.94 per kg in Gurugram, Rs 81.17 in Ghaziabad, Noida-Greater and Noida, Rs 78.61 in Rewari and Rs 84.19 per kg in Faridabad.

Increase in prices is happening very fast

Let us tell you that since March this year till now this is the 15th time when the prices of CNG have been increased. Overall, the price of CNG has increased by Rs 23.55 per kg in 10 months. In April last year, the price of CNG was Rs 36.16 per litre, which has now reached almost Rs 80 in Delhi. The reason behind this is believed to be the adverse global conditions arising out of the Russia-Ukraine war. Along with this, speculations are also being made that the prices of CNG may increase further.

Who will be affected

The price of CNG has increased by about 80 percent since April 2021. Due to this, private vehicle drivers are not only affected, but also those people who use cab services have to face problems. Cab companies like Ola and Uber had already increased their minimum fares drastically and now after this increase, there is a possibility of increasing the fares once again. In such a situation, the burden on the pocket of those who travel by cab or auto every day to go to office may increase further.

Slight increase in the prices of petrol and diesel Despite the fall in the prices of crude oil in the international market, today the oil marketing companies have made petrol and diesel expensive in many other states of the country including Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. The price of petrol and diesel in Maharashtra has been increased by about Re 1.

The Transport Department has decided to take action against the vehicles running without PUC on the roads of Delhi. At the same time, preparations are also being made to send notices to those whose cars have not been PUC.

In view of the increasing pollution in Delhi NCR, the Kejriwal government has once again become strict. This time without the pollution certificate, the challan of the vehicles running on the roads of Delhi will cost ten thousand rupees. Also, those who do not have a valid Pollution Under Control Certificate can be punished with challan as well as jail. Now the Transport Department is also preparing to send notices to those people whose PUC of their vehicle has not been checked.

The Environment Department is also running a campaign called Red Light on Car Off regarding the increasing pollution. At the same time, the Transport Department has also geared up from now and continuously checking of vehicles is being done all over Delhi.

Lakhs of people have to get PUC done , according to the officials of the Transport Department, there are lakhs of such vehicles on the roads of Delhi which do not have pollution certificate. According to sources, the validity of the pollution certificate of more than 17 lakh vehicles has expired and the vehicles have not been re-checked. Due to this, vehicular pollution is increasing rapidly in Delhi. After which now the Transport Department has taken a strict stand against such drivers and it has been decided to take strict action if found guilty.

According to the Transport Department, strict action will be taken against the guilty people. Whoever does not have a valid PUC will be fined Rs 10,000. Not only this, the accused can also be jailed for 6 months. There is also a provision of challan and jail. Now the Transport Department believes that after continuous strictness, people will show seriousness to take PUC and in the coming time the pollution of Delhi will be less. However, at present no precautionary steps have been taken regarding the pollution caused due to other reasons.

Milk Price Hike: The general public has once again suffered a major setback. After the rising inflation of petrol and diesel, now the price of milk is also increasing continuously. Actually, the price of Amul milk has increased again. The price of Amul milk has been increased by Rs 2 per liter. Let us tell you that the new prices will be applicable from August 17. That is, from tomorrow you will have to pay more money for Amul Milk.

Know what are the new rates?

According to the information given by the Amul company, the new rates will be applicable in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Delhi, NCR, Mumbai and West Bengal. The company has told that the new price of 500 grams of Amul Gold will now be Rs 31, while the new price of 500 grams of Amul Taza will be Rs 25. Apart from this, the new price of Amul Shakit Milk will be Rs 28 for 500 grams. The company says that this decision has been taken due to increase in operating cost and production cost of milk.

information given by the company

Let us tell you that earlier on March 1, 2022, Amul had increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter. Even at that time, the company had cited rising inflation of petrol and diesel as the reason behind increasing the price.

The company has given a statement on this that in view of the increase in the total cost of operation and production of milk, the company has taken this decision. The company said that compared to last year alone, the cost of animal feed has increased by about 20 percent. Amul said in a statement, “Keeping in view the increase in cost, our member unions have also increased the prices of farmers by 8-9 per cent as compared to the previous year.”

The post Amul milk Price Increased: Prices of Amul milk increased, these are the new rates of Delhi-NCR, quick check first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

Vehicle Ban in Delhi NCR: If you live in Delhi or NCR or you have to travel, then this news is very important for you. Actually, from October 1, diesel vehicles with BS 4 engine have been banned in Delhi-NCR. According to the new policy of the Commission for Air Quality Management, the use of these vehicles is prohibited if the air quality in Delhi reaches a level below 450 AQI (Air Quality Index).

This policy will be implemented from October 1

The policy of the Commission for Air Quality Management will be implemented just before the festive season when smog prevails in Delhi-NCR due to various reasons other than stubble and firecrackers. The new policy will be implemented from October 1. In this, BS4 diesel engine will be banned due to this war against pollution lasting for the next 5 years.

Essential Services kept separate

According to the new plan, BS 4 diesel four-wheelers will be banned. But Essential Services has been separated from them. In these, the state government can ban light vehicles with BS3 petrol and BS4 diesel engines in Stage 3 in Delhi-NCR. Stage 3 air pollution will be classified through a graded response action plan approved by the Ministry of Environment and Forests. From 401 to 450 AQI it will remain Stage 3 and pollution level will reach Stage 4 as soon as it exceeds 450.

Know the meaning of stage 4 also

Once the pollution level in Delhi NCR reaches Stage 4, the plan will ban the entry of trucks, diesel medium-sized freighters and heavy goods carriers with Delhi registration in the city. Vehicles carrying essential goods will not come under this purview. The new policy also states that from January 1, 2023, fuel pumps in Delhi-NCR will not sell fuel to any vehicle that does not have a valid PUC certificate.

Apart from this, a plan has also been sent to all the states of Delhi and NCR to prepare CNG and LNG fueling network so that commercial vehicles can be made to run on gas instead of fuel.

The post Vehicle Ban in Delhi NCR : After 21 days there will be no entry of these vehicles in Delhi and NCR, nor will they get oil first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.
