Unemployment Allowance: Order issued to give unemployment allowance of Rs 2500 per month from April 1

After the announcement of giving monthly unemployment allowance to the youth, now the date of release of the amount has also been announced. The Chhattisgarh government is giving Rs 2,500 every month as unemployment allowance to the youth of the state. The process of giving allowance is starting from 1 April 2023. The government has said that the youth who apply for the scheme at any time in April will be given the allowance amount from April 1. That’s why the youth should not get upset due to delay in registration.

Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel (Bhupesh Bhagel) while presenting the budget for the year 2023-24 in the assembly had announced to give unemployment allowance to the educated youth. Now the Chief Minister has said that our hands are with the youth. An order has been issued to give unemployment allowance of Rs 2500 per month to the educated youth of Chhattisgarh from April 1.

The Chief Minister said that for the ease of registration, it has been decided that on applications made on any day in the month of April, as per the announcement, the allowance will be payable from April 1 itself. He said that it is hoped that this allowance will prove to be a milestone in the direction of self-reliance of our youth.

Who will get unemployment allowance

Those youths of Chhattisgarh who have studied 12th pass or above will get allowance who are unemployed.
To get unemployment allowance, the age of the applicant should be between 18 to 35 years.
To get unemployment allowance, the annual income of the family should be less than two and a half lakhs.

Application registration process to get unemployment allowance

Youth have been given a chance to register during the month of April to take advantage of Chhattisgarh government’s unemployment allowance scheme. Complete information related to registration can be obtained from Chhattisgarh Employment Department, Panchayat Department and Urban Administration Department and application can also be made there.

  • Applications will be made in the district panchayat in rural areas, municipality or municipal corporation in urban areas.
  • The eligibility of the applicants will be checked by the urban bodies or rural institutions.
  • The Employment Department will transfer Rs 25,00 every month to the bank account of the applicants who will be approved in the investigation.
