Vande Bharat Express Train: The Narendra Modi government at the Center may soon gift another Vande Bharat Express train to the countrymen. According to the information, this Vande Bharat Express train will be the 11th Vande Bharat of the country, which will be started between Mumbai and Goa.
Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve has informed a delegation of MLAs from Maharashtra that the Vande Bharat Semi-High Speed Express train will soon be run on the Mumbai-Goa route. This information has been shared by Niranjan Davkhare, a member of Maharashtra Legislative Council representing Konkan graduate constituency.
Vande Bharat Express recently started on Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur routes
Niranjan Davkhare said in a release that a delegation of MLAs had met Raosaheb Danve on Friday. During this, Danve told the delegation that Vande Bharat Express train would be run between Mumbai and Goa.
According to the release, Danve said that on the lines of the recently launched Vande Bharat Express train on the Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur routes, the Vande Bharat Express train will also be run between Mumbai and Goa.
Demand raised to change the name of Mumbra station to Mumbra Devi
The minister informed the delegation that the Mumbai-Goa rail route has been completely electrified and after inspection, the Vande Bharat Express train will be started on this route. During the meeting, the delegation discussed several issues related to Railways in Thane and Konkan region with the Minister. The legislators also demanded that the name of Thane’s Mumbra station be changed to Mumbra Devi station. Danve assured them that a decision would be taken after the state government presented a proposal to this effect.
Most Vande Bharat Express trains will be near Mumbai
Let us tell that now most of the Vande Bharat Express trains are near Delhi and Mumbai only. Currently there are 3 Vande Bharat Express trains connecting Mumbai. These include Gandhinagar Capital-Mumbai Central, Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express trains.
After the commencement of Vande Bharat Express on the Goa-Mumbai route, Mumbai will have more Vande Bharat Express trains than Delhi. Near Delhi are New Delhi-Varanasi, New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and New Delhi-Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express.
