Indian Railways is ready to flag off Bihar’s first Vande Bharat Express train in the next three weeks. The trial run of the train is expected to start in the next two days after its seven coaches reached Patna Railway Junction on Tuesday.

According to the report, after reaching Patna Junction, the train was brought to the coach complex of Rajendra Nagar Terminal. The trial run of Vande Bharat Express will be specially monitored by Senior Engineer from IFC Chennai. No official announcement has been made as to when the Vande Bharat Express will start on the Patna-Ranchi route.

Railway officials say that the exact date of inauguration of Vande Bharat Express is likely to be announced by this month. The proposed route of Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express is also expected to be finalized soon. Please tell that the running of this train will give a lot of relief to the passengers. And you will be able to reach your destination on time.

Features of Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express

  • The Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will have five general and one luxury coach.
  • The train will have a capacity of 530 passengers in a journey with two loco pilots. The train will run at a speed of 128 to 130 kmph.
  • The hi-tech train is completely fireproof and many safety measures have been used in it for the passengers.
  • The arrival of Vande Bharat Express at Patna Junction was celebrated with clapping and selfie session. The train left Chennai’s Integral Coach Factory at 5:10 pm on June 3.
  • Railway employees like loco pilots and driver group members will be given training before the introduction of the high-speed train.

Bihar’s first Vande Bharat will run on these routes

The proposed route of Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express is also expected to be finalized soon. Ministry of Railways is planning to run Vande Bharat Express on Patna, Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh Town, Barkakana, BIT Mesra, Tatisilwai, Ranchi route, which will cover a distance of approximately 378 kms. According to sources, the high-speed train will cover the journey in six to seven hours.

Presently, 18 Vande Bharat Express trains are running on various routes across India. The first Vande Bharat Express train was inaugurated in 2019 on the New Delhi-Kanpur-Allahabad-Varanasi route.
