Travel from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri in 7.5 hours

This Vande Bharat Superfast train will have all kinds of modern facilities. Vande Bharat train will complete the journey from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri in approximately 7.5 hours. Vande Bharat train will cover the journey from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri three hours earlier than other trains.

Train will stop at Barsoi, Malda and Bolpur

Officials say that this train will stop at three places, Barsoi, Malda and Bolpur. This semi-high speed train has all kinds of facilities, which can attract tourists traveling to the hills of North Bengal.

What will be the fare?

Information about the fare of this train has not been received yet. But it is expected that the fare will be higher than the Shatabdi Express running on this route. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the Joka-Taratala section of the Purple Line of the Kolkata Metro.

Apart from these, he will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). The Prime Minister will also dedicate four more rail projects to the nation. These include Boinchi-Shaktigarh 3rd line, Dankuni-Chandanpur 4th line, Nimtita-New Farakka double line and Ambari Falakata-New Maynaguri-Gumanihat doubling project.

How will this Vande Bharat train be?

There will be 16 coaches in this train, in which there will be two driver’s rooms. These will also have two special coaches while the rest will be general coaches. Each coach will have a total of 78 seats in two rows. Tables of these coaches have been specially designed, which will be the center of attraction. Officials say that this train will leave Howrah station at 6 am and reach New Jalpaiguri at 1.30 pm.

Country’s seventh Vande Bharat Express

After stopping at New Jalpaiguri for about an hour, Vande Bharat Express will leave from here at 2.30 pm and reach Kolkata at 10 pm. The train will run six days a week under Eastern Railway. This will be the seventh Vande Bharat Express and the first of the eastern camp. In this way trains are already running in Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and New Delhi. Railways is planning to run 400 such trains across the country in the next three years.
