7th Pay Commission: 4% dearness allowance and dearness relief set to increase, government will announce on this day

7th Pay Commission DA hike: The Modi government has approved the proposal to increase Dearness Allowance (DA). If media reports are to be believed, then the central government has given green signal to the proposal to increase DA by 4 percent.

However, it has not been officially announced yet. The announcement of increasing DA by the government can be done on 28 September i.e. during Navratri. This increased DA will be applicable from 1st July 2022. That is, employees are going to get more money in salary during festivals.

DA will be 38% After increasing the DA of the Central Government by 4 percent, the dearness allowance of government employees will be increased to 38 percent. At present, government employees are getting 34 per cent DA. After the increase of the government, DA area money for July and August will also be available in the salary for the month of September. This decision of the government will benefit the central employees and pensioners of the country.

Salary will increase up to Rs 27,000

The basic salary of the employees is Rs 56,900, they will get DA of Rs 21,622 if there is 38 percent dearness allowance. At present, Rs 19,346 is being received at the rate of 34 per cent at the rate of 34 per cent DA. The increase in DA by 4 percent will increase the salary by Rs 2,276. That is, about Rs 27,312 will increase annually.

Government employees will benefit

By increasing the dearness allowance of the government, 50 lakh employees and 65 lakh pensioners of the country will benefit as their salary will increase. At the beginning of the year, the government had increased the DA by 3 per cent, after which the dearness allowance had gone up to 34 per cent. Now due to increase in DA by 4 per cent, dearness allowance will increase to 38 per cent.
