Amrit Bharat Express: 8 new trains including two new Amrit Bharat Express started from today, know the route & timing

Giving a gift to crores of railway passengers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has today flagged off 8 new trains. Of these, two are new Amrit Bharat Express and six are Vande Bharat Express. Amrit Bharat has been flagged off to the people of the country for the first time. PM Modi flagged off new trains during a program in Ayodhya. Some of these trains have been flagged off from Ayodhya. The remaining few trains were flagged off through video conferencing.

Amrit Bharat Express is the new train of Railways, it has been started keeping in mind the convenience of the common man. This non-AC train has second class unreserved and sleeper coaches. With 6,000 hp WAP5 locomotives at either end, the train is capable of running at a speed of 130 kmph.

The new Amrit is running India’s railways on push pull technology. Vande Bharat is already being operated on different routes in the country. Vande Bharat is a self-propelled train running at a speed of 160 km per hour. Let us know the information related to the routes and tickets etc. of the trains running today-

1. Route and time of Ayodhya Amrit Bharat Express

Ayodhya Amrit Bharat Express will run from Darbhanga to Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi. The train has 12 sleeper class coaches and 8 unreserved second class coaches. Train number 15557 will leave Darbhanga every Monday and Thursday at 3:00 pm. It will travel for 21 hours 35 minutes and reach Anand Vihar Terminal station at 12:35 pm the next day. In return, this train number 15558 Anand Vihar-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express will run from Anand Vihar at 3:10 pm every Tuesday and Friday. It will take 20 hours 40 minutes and reach Darbhanga at 11:50 pm the next day.

On the way to Ayodhya Amrit Bharat will stop at Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi, Bairagnia, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Bagha, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Mankapur, Ayodhya Dham, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla, Aligarh Junction, Anand Vihar Terminal. IRCTC has not yet released the train ticket price on its website. It was told in a media report that for traveling in unreserved second class coach from 0 to 50 km, one will have to pay Rs 35.

2. The second Amrit Bharat Express is being operated from Malda Town to Bengaluru (Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal).

Vande Bharat Express routes

1. The second Vande Bharat Express is being run from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to New Delhi. After running Vande Bharat Express from Delhi to Katra in the year 2019, there was a demand for a second Vande Bharat on this route for a long time.

2. Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat Express was flagged off through video conferencing. Train number 20488 will depart from Amritsar station at 8:20 am and will reach Delhi Junction at 1:50 pm in 5 hours 30 minutes. On the way, the train will stop at Beas, Jalandhar Cantt, Phagwara, Ludhiana and Ambala Cantt stations. In return, train number 20487 will depart from Delhi at 3:15 pm and reach Amritsar at 8:45 pm. Regular service of the train will start from January 6. The train will not operate on Friday.

3. The third Vande Bharat train has been operated on the Coimbatore-Bangalore route.

4. The fourth Vande Bharat has been run between Jalna-Mumbai (CSMT). Train number 20705 will depart from Jalna at 5:05 am and reach CSMT at 11:55 am. On the way it will stop at Aurangabad, Manmad Junction, Nashik Road, Kalyan Junction, Thane, Dadar station. In return, this train number 20706 will depart from CSMT station of Mumbai at 1:10 pm on the same day and will reach Jalna at 8:30 pm.

5. Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express is the fifth train. Train number 22426 will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal, Delhi at 6:10 am and reach Ayodhya Cantt station at 2:30 pm. On the way, the train will stop at Kanpur Central and Lucknow. In return, train number 22425 will leave from Ayodhya Cantt station at 3:20 pm and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:40 pm. Information regarding train tickets has not been released by IRCTC yet.

6. The sixth and last Vande Bharat Express has been operated on the Mangaluru-Madgaon Goa route.
