Government employees of Madhya Pradesh government will now have to assess their performance themselves. The General Administration Department has given clear instructions that all employees must submit self-assessment report by June 30. In case of not submitting the report within the stipulated time limit, July salary can be withheld. This self-assessment report will become the basis for their performance evaluation in future.
Movement of files increased in all departments
This order was issued by the government on 28 June, due to which the employees got very little time to prepare. As soon as the order was issued, there was an atmosphere of hurry in the departments and most of the employees immediately started the process of filling the self-assessment form.
Final assessment is at the discretion of the authorities
The self-evaluation submitted by the employee will be included in the Annual Performance Report (APR) after review by the senior officer. This report will later become an important basis for decisions such as promotion, transfer and service extension.
GAD’s new order came out
The General Administration Department (GAD) in Madhya Pradesh has made it mandatory for all government employees of the state to fill the self-assessment form. Employees have to submit this form to the concerned authorities by the last date of 30 June 2025.

GAD has made it clear that salary will not be released without submitting the self-assessment report. In such a situation, it has become necessary for all employees to complete the assessment on time.
