An Indian Air Force aircraft broke down on the runway at Leh airport on Tuesday morning. Because of this all flights to Ladakh had to be cancelled.

It was told that a SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Leh landed at the airport in the morning. After this, Air Force aircraft C-17 Globemaster made preparations to fly to Chandigarh.

When the Globemaster was preparing to take off, the plane suddenly broke down in the middle of the runway and stopped there. Due to the aircraft getting stuck on the runway, it was not possible for any aircraft to land or take off at the airport. In such a situation, the airport authority canceled all the flights to Ladakh.

Tourists are facing difficulties

Due to the cancellation of all flights to Ladakh, tourists from India and abroad who reached Leh are facing difficulties. There are also some tourists from other countries who had a connecting flight from Delhi to their country.

Aircraft being repaired

At present, action is being taken by the Indian Air Force to repair its aircraft. To repair the aircraft, its new parts have been brought from Chandigarh. On the other hand, the airport authority has not yet said anything about how to reach the stranded passengers in Leh.
