UP School Summer Vacation: Summer vacations have been announced in government schools of Uttar Pradesh. Holiday has been declared in UP Basic Education Council schools from May 20 to June 15.
An order has been issued by the Secretary of UP Basic Education Council Prayagraj regarding the holidays of government schools. According to which the summer vacation in schools/recognized schools run under the control of UP Education Department is scheduled to start from May 20 and end till June 15.
The decision was taken after seeing the rising temperature
Let us tell you that in order to save the students from the heat and heat wave, the school timings were also changed in many districts. However, now seeing the rising temperature, the education department has announced summer vacations. However, in many states, school holidays were already announced in view of the heat.
Along with this, the Varanasi District Magistrate has issued an order to close the school in view of the heat. The District Magistrate has ordered the closure of all schools from class 1 to 8. All schools of CBSE, UP Board and ICS Board will be closed as per the order of the District Magistrate.
Summer vacations announced in Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand as well
Recently, the Madhya Pradesh government has also announced summer vacation for schools from May 1 to June 15 in view of the rising heat. The academic session 2023-24 will start from April 17 across the state. Apart from this, the summer vacation in Jharkhand will start from May 21 and continue till June 10.
At the same time, the new academic session of the year 2023-24 will start from June 12. Along with this, due to the rising temperature, summer vacation in primary, middle and higher secondary schools in Maharashtra has started from April 21. Schools will remain closed till June 15.
