Know about WeCare

This VCare scheme of SBI is for senior citizens, in which they are getting 0.50% additional interest on FDs of 5 years or more. Senior citizens already get 0.50% extra interest as compared to general customers, so in this way they are getting full 1% extra benefit under VCare. However, this scheme will be operational only till June 30, so if you want to invest in it, then you have only 12 days left. One thing is to be kept in mind in this that if you withdraw it before maturity, then you will not get additional interest.
