Train Route Changes: The route of Barmer-Delhi trains has been changed. Due to interlocking work, Barmer-Jammutvi, Howrah-Barmer, Delhi-Barmer and Jaisalmer-Delhi trains will run on diverted routes.
The routes of trains going from Barmer to Delhi have been changed. In the last week of July, the operation of some trains running between Barmer-Delhi railway stations will be affected. Barmer-Jammutvi Shalimar Express, Howrah-Barmer Superfast, Delhi-Barmer Malani Express and Jaisalmer-Delhi-Runicha Express will run on new routes.
Route changed due to interlocking work
According to Anurag Tripathi, DRM of Jodhpur division of North Western Railway, electric interlocking work is being done at Delhi Sarai Rohilla railway station of Delhi division, due to which the operation of trains between Barmer and Delhi will be affected in the last week of July. Barmer-Jammutvi Shalimar Express, Howrah-Barmer Superfast, Jaisalmer-Delhi Runicha Express and Delhi-Barmer Malani Express will run on new routes.
Changed route of these trains
Train number 12323 Howrah-Barmer Superfast will depart from Howrah on 22 and 25 July and the changed route will run via Delhi-Delhi Kesarganj-Dayabasti-Patel Nagar. Train number 14088 Jaisalmer-Delhi Runicha Express will depart from Delhi on 26 and 27 July and the changed route will run via Patel Nagar-Dayabasti-Delhi Kesarganj-Delhi.
Similarly, train number 14661 Barmer-Jammutvi Shalimar Express will depart from Jammu Tawi from 21st to 28th July and the diverted route will operate via Patel Nagar-Delhi Kesarganj-Dayabasti-Delhi, while train number 14662 Jammu Tawi-Barmer Shalimar Express will depart from Jammu Tawi on 26th and 27th July and the diverted route will operate via Delhi-Delhi Kesarganj-Dayabasti-Patel Nagar.
