The running of Vande Bharat Express is expected to reduce the travel time between Delhi and Dehradun to just 4.5 hours. With this facility, traveling from the National Capital to Dehradun will become the fastest option on the train route. At present, six trains operate between the state capital and the national capital. Among these are Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi, Uttaranchal Express, Mussoorie Express, Dehradun-Indore, Ujjain Express and Nanda Devi AC Superfast, which take more than 5 and a half to 9 hours. In such a situation, Vande Bharat will save a lot of time for those traveling on this route.

After the inauguration on 25th May, Vande Bharat Express will open between Dehradun-Delhi for Delhi from 29th May. According to TOI news, station superintendent of Dehradun railway station Shashank Sharma said that Vande Bharat train will run from Dehradun railway station to Delhi’s Anand Vihar station. This train will complete its journey in 4 hours 30 minutes.

According to media reports, this train will run 6 days a week except Wednesday. Vande Bharat Express will leave Dehradun at 7 am and reach Anand Vihar Terminal railway station in Delhi at 11.30 pm. Whereas, in return, this train will leave from Anand Vihar Terminal Railway Station at 5.30 pm and reach Dehradun at 10.20 pm.

Where will be the stoppage?

It is being told that Vande Bharat Express will reach Delhi after one stoppage from Dehradun. The stop of the train can be in Saharanpur. However, the train operations and fares are being finalized. According to railway officials, since the Vande Bharat train has power on both sides, there will be no need to change the locomotive if it stops at Saharanpur.

What will be the fare and speed?

The fare of Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat Express has not been decided yet. The Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat Express can reach speeds of up to 180 kilometers per hour. However, this train runs at an average of 150 kilometers per hour.

With this speed, it will become the fastest train between Dehradun to Delhi. Because Shatabdi Express completes this journey in 6 hours 10 minutes, while Jan Shatabdi and Nanda Devi Express complete their journey in 5 hours 50 minutes.
