There is good news for the devotees going to Mata Vaishno Devi. Indian Railways has decided to restart the Vande Bharat Express (train number 22439/22440) from New Delhi to Katra.
The operation of this train was stopped due to repair work at Jammu station. This train runs six days a week except Wednesday.
According to ET Now’s report, this Vande Bharat is ready to run on the tracks again from March 7 (Friday). Currently, two Vande Bharat trains are running between Delhi and Katra. These include 22439/22440 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express and 22477/22478 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express.
Vande Bharat will stop at these stations
To make the journey of this train even more comfortable, stoppage has been given at four major stations. This Vande Bharat will stop at stations like Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana Junction, Pathankot Cantt and Jammu Tawi. For the convenience of passengers, the train has AC chair car and executive chair car. Vande Bharat Express running from New Delhi will leave at 6:00 am and reach Katra at 2:15 pm. On return, this train will leave from Katra at 2:55 pm and reach Delhi at 11:00 pm.
What will be the fare of Vande Bharat
Talking about the ticket fare, the fare for AC chair car from New Delhi to Katra has been fixed at Rs 1665, while for the executive chair car, passengers will have to spend Rs 3055. This train is not only a comfortable travel option for pilgrims and tourists, but will also save time due to the high speed service.
