According to our partner website Zee Business, those non-gazetted central government employees coming in Group B and Group C will also be given bonus. Let us tell you that these are those employees who do not come under any Productivity Linked Bonus Scheme. Not only this, the benefit of ad-hoc bonus will also be given to the employees of the central paramilitary forces. Apart from this, temporary workers will also get its benefit.

How will the ad hoc bonus be decided?

It is worth noting that the bonus is added on the basis of the average salary of the employees, whichever is less, as per the ceiling of calculation. That is, the monthly bonus of 30 days of employees will be equal to about one month’s salary. Let us understand with an example how the bonus of employees will be added. If an employee is getting Rs 7000, then according to the calculation, 7000 * 30 / 30.4 = Rs 6907.89 (Rs 6908) will be made.

Which employees will get benefits?

According to the information given by the government, only those employees of the central government will get the benefit of this, who have been in service on 31 March 2021.
During the year 2020-21, continuous duty has been given for at least six months.
Temporary employees appointed on adhoc basis will also get this bonus, but there should be no break in service in the meantime.

– Such employees who have been out of service, have resigned or have retired on or before 31 March 2022, will be treated as a special case.

Ad-hoc bonus will be given to those who have illegally retired or died before March 31 on medical grounds, but have performed regular duty for six months in a financial year.
