The single unified identifier allows financial institutions to retrieve existing customer verification records from a central database, saving individuals from submitting identity and address proof documents every time they open a new bank account, purchase an insurance policy, or invest in mutual funds.

How to Find Your 14-Digit CKYC Identifier

Financial customers can retrieve their existing CKYC number through multiple authorized channels:

1.Check Financial Profiles:Option 1: Net Banking / Mobile Apps.

Log in to your bank or credit card mobile application, navigate to Profile Settings / KYC Details, and view your masked or unmasked 14-digit CKYC Identifier.

2.Fetch via DigiLocker:Option 2: DigiLocker Integration.

Access the official DigiLocker platform, search for the Central KYC Records Registry (CERSAI) under issuer services, and link your CKYC card.

3.PAN-Based Search:Option 3: Portal Verification.

Visit your bank or financial distributor’s online CKYC status portal and perform an instant search using your PAN card number.

 

Important Note: While CKYC eliminates duplicate document submissions for new accounts, customers are still required to update their central CKYC records whenever there is a permanent change in address, mobile number, or legal name.
