Vande Bharat: The Kerala government has requested the Railways to give Vande Bharat Express stops at Tirur and Tiruvalla in Malappuram and Pathanamthitta districts of the state, respectively, regarding the first Vande Bharat Express running in the state.

The state government has told the Ministry of Railways that a large number of people travel at these two stations, so the train should stop at these two stations. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav informing about the ‘reasonable demand’ of railway passengers for stoppage of Vande Bharat train at Tirur and Tiruvalla.

At which stations will the train stop?

Vijayan said that Tirur is an important station on the Shoranur-Mangalore section of Southern Railways and has also been included in the Amrit Bharat Scheme to develop it as a ‘model station’.

The Chief Minister of Kerala said, “This section receives a large number of passengers from both the northern and southern sides. Similarly, Thiruvalla in Pathanamthitta district is also a station that holds a pride of place in the railway map of Kerala and is Also a large number of passengers travel.

What is the route of Vande Bharat train

Let us tell you that on April 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the state’s first Vande Bharat train from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. This is the 16th Vande Bharat train of the country. This Vande Bharat Express train of Kerala operates between Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur. The distance between both the destinations is 501 kms which it covers in 7.5 hours. This Vande Bharat Express stops at Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Tirur, Kozhikode stations on this route.

The fare of Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram Central Vande Bharat Express is Rs 1520. In which Rs 308 will be charged for the food rate. On the other hand, if we talk about executive class fare, then it will cost Rs 2815, in which Rs 369 will be taken as food rate. On the other hand, the fare of train number- 20634 Vande Bharat Express from Thiruvananthapuram Central to Kasargod will be Rs 1590 in chair car and Rs 379 will be taken as food rate. The fare for the executive class will be Rs 2880, which will also include Rs 434 as food rate.
