The weather has changed suddenly across the country, due to which sudden changes in the weather are being seen in many states.
Due to the activation of the Western Disturbance, many plains including Delhi-NCR witnessed clouds, dust storms and rain, which gave relief to the people from the heat. The hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand received heavy snowfall, while the low-lying areas received rain. On the other hand, about 60 people lost their lives due to storm, rain and lightning in Bihar.

East and North-East India:Â Rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds is likely in Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
South India:Â Rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds is likely over Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep.

Mumbai:Â A yellow alert has been issued for April 11, with rain likely in Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. The temperature may rise by 3-4 degrees Celsius in the next 3 days, which will increase humidity.
Delhi:Â Temperatures dropped after storm and rain on April 10. Light rain is likely on April 11 and 12, after which temperatures are likely to rise and a heat wave is likely.
Patna:Â The maximum temperature on April 11 is likely to be 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 23 degrees Celsius. The temperature may increase further in the coming days.
Lucknow:Â The maximum temperature is expected to be 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 24 degrees Celsius on April 11. The temperature is likely to increase in the coming days.
