How to do Ration Card e-KYC?
- You need to download Mera eKYC application and AadharFaceRD in your phone.Â
- First of all you have to select your state and verify by entering the location.Â
- Then you have to enter your Aadhaar number in your ration card on Mera eKYC app.Â
- OTP will be sent to the phone number linked to your Aadhaar.Â
- You will have to enter that OTP on the app.Â
- Then you have to verify the face and for face scanning you have to scan the face with the selfie camera.Â
- After which your verification will be completed.
Keep in mind that you will have to get verification done of each member named in the ration card, otherwise that person will be considered ineligible and his name will be removed from the ration card.
What to do if verification is not done?
If you are facing problems in verification and receiving OTP, you can go to your nearest government ration shop with your Aadhar card and ration card. There the shopkeeper will complete your KYC by entering the ration card and Aadhar card number and doing your biometrics. Â
