The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a new alert on Friday and warned that in the next few hours, heavy rains and thunderstorms may occur in many areas including Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi along with strong winds. On Thursday, many people had already lost their lives due to storm and lightning in Bihar, and now once again the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert and appealed to the people to be cautious. Before leaving the house, definitely take information about the weather and follow the advice to stay in a safe place.

Alarm bells ring again in Bihar, Orange alert issued

Rain and lightning on Thursday took many lives in districts like Nalanda, Patna, Bhojpur of Bihar. The situation will remain serious even today. IMD has issued an orange alert in Patna, Gaya, Siwan, Muzaffarpur, Kosi and Seemanchal region. There is a warning of thunderstorms, lightning and heavy rain at a speed of 40-50 km/h on Friday.
People have been advised not to stand under trees, stay away from open fields and high places.

The mood of weather will change in Rajasthan too

A new western disturbance is showing its effect in Rajasthan. Strong winds will blow in Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Jaipur and Shekhawati areas. On April 12, light to moderate rain may occur in Udaipur, Kota and Bharatpur divisions.
Due to this, there will be a drop of 2 to 3 degrees in temperature and there will be some relief from the scorching heat.

There will be effect in Delhi-MP too

The weather will remain changed in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh as well. There is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunderstorms. There may be light drizzle in Delhi NCR while there is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in areas like Bhopal, Gwalior, Rewa, Jabalpur of Madhya Pradesh.
