The unseasonal rains have created havoc in front of the people these days, due to which there is waterlogging at many places. Due to rains in all areas of western UP and Uttarakhand, a significant drop in temperature is being recorded.
These days the situation is worse due to rains in the northeastern states, due to which there is water in many places. Light clouds were seen in Uttar Pradesh this morning, but rain is expected to relent after the sun shines. On the other hand, heavy rains have made life difficult in South India, due to which the temperature also decreased. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain with thunder in many areas of the country.
According to the IMD, the capital Delhi is likely to record a minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius on Friday. It is expected to remain partly cloudy in Delhi. Here on May 6 and 7, a warning of thunderstorm and rain has been issued.
Rain alert in these states
According to IMD, a warning of heavy rain with thunderstorms has been issued in Andaman and Nicobar between May 7 and 9. Along with this, there is a possibility of light to heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir and Tamil Nadu. Scattered light rain may occur over Western Himalayas and Arunachal Pradesh. Light snowfall may be seen in the upper reaches.
Heavy rain warning has been issued in some areas of Northeast India, Sikkim, South Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Marathwada. Also, there is a possibility of heavy rain at many places in Gangetic West Bengal, Kerala, South India Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Bihar, Jharkhand, Interior Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
